3 Great Games for Holidays
I know I’m repeating myself, but I know (because I’m the mother of three little beasts) that vacations are something like a natural catastrophe in the house when the children aren’t entertained with something that they like…
That’s why, despite being insistent, I hope that all these entries help you to enjoy them more and less of their tantrums and tantrums…
It is their resource to get our attention, and you know it.
I leave you 3 games to share with them, both in assembly and in the enjoyment itself…
Of course, the first one is better that you do it, even if they enjoy it seeing how the balloons fly, more than anything because it requires a skill that They don’t have their little hands yet and they could get soaked…
FIRST GAME: BALLOONS THAT FLY WITHOUT HELIUM
Materials: Vinegar, Baking soda (the usual), 2 funnels, 1 plastic bottle and the Balloons…
How to do it: Pour the vinegar with one of the funnels up to the middle of the bottle.
Then it’s the bicarbonate’s turn, pour it into the balloon with the dry funnel.
Cover the mouth of the bottle with the balloon and when you have it, lift it up and let the baking soda fall inside and reach the vinegar.
The effervescence produced by the mixture will raise the gas into the balloon thanks to the reaction of the base acid and carbon dioxide (the gas that will fill the balloon) causing it to weigh less than the air itself, which will make it rise as if was filled with helium.
SECOND GAME: HORSES OF Pool Noodles
Buy the cork board and with strong rubber bands or ribbons, tie at the distance that the head should form, as you see in the images.
With felt (or any piece of fabric you have at home), a little hot silicone to stick the mane and ears and cardboard for the eyes, you can finish off your little horse so that the little ones swarm around the house mounted on their new toy.
THIRD GAME: FROZEN DINOSAUR EGGS
They can be Dinosaurs or any other small animal that you have from their toys, keep in mind that this is not a toy for babies under 4 years of age, they could swallow the “bugs” …
But for the older ones it will be a challenge to discover them within the balloons and let them thaw in order to play with them…
It will be the way to “take back” toys that, probably, have already been forgotten in a drawer…
